Jeremias Pestalozzi is a Bachelor student of Julia Fischer. In April 2024, he made his debut alongside her with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra with Bach’s double violin concerto at the Rudolfinum in Prague.
Born in 2005, Jeremias has been playing the violin since he was five years old. In 2019, he became a junior student at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich – first with Christoph Poppen and Simone and Peter Michielsen, from April 2022 in the class of Julia Fischer. He also attended masterclasses with, among others: Ana Chumachenco, Ingolf Turban and Nora Chastain.
He won the Jugend musiziert competition 1st prize at national level in 2018 (duo) and 2019 (solo).
Since his debut in 2019, he has performed several times with the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and has also gained solo experience with the Wendland Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra Isartal Philharmonic Orchestra (including Mozart, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and Bruch violin concerto).
In 2023, he played three concerts as a soloist with the German
Streicherphilhamonie, where he also conducted the orchestra.
He has also been invited to various festivals, e.g. the
Ickinger Frühling and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
